Occupational Health Accreditation Standards

The Occupational Health Tick accredits you based on the evidence which you can provide as real proof of what you have done. By using the Microaccreditation model, we split the full accreditation into specific areas for you to present your efforts and outcomes in order to be assessed. These elements are then combined in order to give an overall assessment, allowing us to independently accredit you at bronze, silver or gold levels.

Within the Occupational Health Tick Accreditation there are 12 Microaccreditation standards which your organisation will be assessed on. Each can be applied for separately through our portal, giving you full control over your journey towards the full accreditation.

To give you a bit of an idea of how we will consider the evidence which you provide: ‘mental health’ is taken as a spectrum from positive to negative, with poor mental health at end. Meanwhile, a ‘mental health difficulty’ is when someone is unable to cope with their poor mental health. Additionally, ‘wellbeing’ can include mental health, physical health, or even financial health. Wellbeing initiatives seek to maintain wellbeing; mental health provision seeks to offer support to those experiencing difficulties.
