Physical Wellbeing

Looking after your people’s physical wellbeing is not just about keeping them safe, it is about supporting their physical health in a positive way, or in such as way that working for you does not negatively impact their health.

Whilst you, as an employer, cannot force people to change their lifestyle, you can influence. The Physical Wellbeing Tick exists for that very reason, to accredit the physical health and wellbeing initiatives that are having a verifiable positive impact on people physical health.

We accredit you based on the evidence of what you have done. By providing evidence of the impact of the aspect you are seeking physical health or wellbeing accreditation for, we are able to independently accredit you at bronze, silver or gold levels. These aspects are split into microaccreditations, smaller accreditations that assess individual areas of a physical wellbeing strategy, such as the having a strategic vision that is embedded across the organisation.

Within Physical Wellbeing Tick Accreditation there are 10 microaccreditations. Each can be applied for separately through our portal.

Below is the guidance for each Physical Wellbeing Tick showing the evidence required for Bronze, Silver or Gold accreditation in each aspect.
